Retrospective today was strange from my point of view because the story card that I did recently meant that I’ve been thinking a lot about how we report and let people know what we are doing, but it is a little frustrating because it’s not as good as having the product ready. Sometimes we just have to wait a little bit.
I’m very much in favour of taking the shortest route to get what we have to say out there, and then if we outgrow whatever tool we use then we can look again at where we go from there.
Installed wordpress, and that provides a whole load of features which would get us up an running pretty quickly, but would still require a degree of set up. I guess we should discuss that in the planning meeting tomorrow.
One thing I did forget to mention in the retrospective was the lack of design tickets in the sprint, which makes things tricky for Ed and myself. Picking things out of the backlog is ok, but it’s a poor substitute for properly planned workload in the sprint.
