Back in the swing of work today, after a few days off. Was intrigued to see what delights were going to be on the board for me to do, and alas, nothing too exciting, but more testing.
I feel like I’ve taken too long already, but I also know that I haven’t been wasting time, I guess I’m just finding it pretty hard. Today’s tests went a little quicker, so I’m hoping to get to a finishable state this week.
As I’m sure others will testify , tests seem like they can spiral out of control if you’re not careful.
I’m mindful that there should be design issues coming up that Ed and myself can get our teeth into. The design of the admin is one area that springs to mind.
I see that we still have a pretty ambitious target ahead of us for this week, and it seems to consist of a few bigger tickets rather than medium size jobs. I think the smaller jobs are good to build momentum and a feelgood factor about progress, whereas the bigger things can seem like they will never be completed.
