1. Just finished reading Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Thoroughly enjoyed it and there were plenty of moments where I stopped and pondered.

    I was especially interested in the part where is was clear that even though our subconscious is pretty fast it still needs a little time to process what is happening and react. It seems a wise course of action to get used to stopping and thinking before acting. It got me thinking that during many of the screencasts I’ve seen, my own experience and watching others typing that most people try to type too fast, and end up quickly correcting mistakes. Perhaps it’s a geek ego thing where there’s a lot of kudos attached to fast typing.
